Autumn Tango II

In light of the upcoming Autumn Tango KAL in The Yarn Attic group I have knitted a larger version of this pattern in thinner yarn than original. The pattern itself has undergone a major update. The update includes the following changes and additions:
1. Instructions on how to make a larger scarf in DK weight are available at the end of the pattern.
2. The middle joint of the scarf at Provisional CO now does not have one stitch offset as in the previous version of the pattern and aligns perfectly.
3. The number of pattern repeats in each direction of the scarf has been clarified with a different wording to avoid any confusion.
4. There were few typos for the 2nd half of the scarf BO which have been corrected now.
5. A picture of how to block side leaves has been added.

You still have time to join the KAL. The pattern is FREE when you register for the KAL in the KAL thread. There are prizes as well. You can join this KAL no later than Sept 15, 2014 in order to qualify for prizes.

Happy knitting,
Diana

Projects, Paterns and other news :-)

So many projects still waiting to be photographed, to be written as patterns or both. Few of the projects were done months ago and one more than a year ago. Sometimes life interferes and the best of plans get put on hold. I am gradually working through all my projects and patterns. Casual Friday cardi pattern is in the works 1st.  Also, a new version of my Autumn Tango scarf in skinnier yarn is completed and pattern will be updated very soon and just in time for Autumn Tango KAL over at The Yarn Attic group on Ravelry.
Also, Bordertown pattern is coming next week ;-)

WIPs

For the first time in 4 months I had any substantial free time to knit this past couple days. My Casual Friday cardigan is almost completed. I am very happy with how everything turned out, but the button  band and will redo it. Pattern writing is next ;-)

While cardigan was blocking, I started a new design from Pigeonroof Studios Bacchus Aran. What a pleasure to knit with this yarn. It is really nice to knit with aran weight after several months of 4ply :-)
