Lazy Sunday

Sneak peak of my new shawl, called Lazy Sunday. The pattern is currently being test knitted (more info in my group on Ravelry) and will be published at the end of November.
The shawl is large, cozy and warm. Sideways construction creates broken stripes effect and contrasts in texture and colors. I cannot wait for a colder weather to wear it:-)

Happy knitting,
Diana

Raava

My new design, Raava hat and scarf patterns are now live! You can find them here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/sources/raava

Raava is a spirit of peace and light on “The legend of Korra” series that I love to watch with my kids.
Raava scarf is knitted in a simple leaf and zigzag motif. This design is modular and you can customize your scarf by knitting any of the pattern segments as many times as you wish and by knitting them in a different order. All segments are interchangeable and can be moved around without affecting the flow of the pattern. Knitted in aran weight, this would make a great quick project in your favorite yarn.
Raava hat is knitted in a simple leaf motif with a twisted stitches brim. The hat is knitted in the round and takes just 110 yards of aran weight yarn to complete for an adult size. This is fast and easy project that can be done in a day. Enjoy!

e-book for Raava scarf and hat set will be on sale for $4.00 until the end of the day PST on Wednesday October 15. After that the e-book will be sold for $6.00 and each individual pattern for $4.00.

The whole set takes just under 3 skeins of Pigeonroof Studios BACCHUS yarn. Knitted in aran weight, this would make a great quick project just in time for the holiday gift knitting.

Happy knitting,
Diana
