Craftsy shawl/yarn kits.

Some exciting news. Two of my shawl patterns are now available on Craftsy site as a part of yarn/pattern kits. Those patterns are Platochek and Pier.

Pier Shawlette.

 This is a shawlette (narrower) version of the Pier shawl design. A file for this version of the pattern has been added to the Pier pattern file. When you download Pier pattern you will get two separate files, one for an original shawl and the other one for a shawlette version. If you have bought this pattern previously, an automated update with both shawl versions will be send to you.
I love this shawlette version. It works very well as a scarf and I have been wearing it a lot :-))

New shawl pattern: Pier

 My new pattern Pier is now live on Ravelry and my blog :-))
Pier is a unisex shawl knitted sideways seamlessly in a simple garter stitch. This design takes advantage of the difference in stripes position to one another in the border and the body of the shawl. This shawl is a great beginner project and a nice relaxing project for the experienced knitters. There are just a few short rows and absolutely no stitches to be picked up for the border. The body and the border are knitted at once. Choose your favorite colors and have fun knitting Pier.

I am running a promotion on this pattern right now.
The pattern will be sold at $3.50 (30% off its regular price) until Tuesday, January 21, 11pm Pacific time. After that date it will be sold at its regular price of $5.00.

 

 The grey/pink shawl was a prototype I have knitted in light fingering yarn. The pattern instructions are for the design you see in the DK weight white/brown shawl.
