This shawl has been knitted a few weeks back, but I had no time to take pictures, write a pattern or blog about it until this weekend.
I started knitting this shawl during the time I was sitting home with my son, who had terrible case of flue. I was knitting another project," Rhapsody in Grey" actually, while my son slept with very high fever. I had a feeling then, that I just do not want to knit anything grey. I wanted some color-therapy to lift up my mood. I just received this gorgeous Cashmere 4/14NM DK Weight yarn from ColourMart that I wanted to try and idea of this shawl came together very quickly. I absolutely in love with this stitch pattern and this shawl :-))
This pattern is going to be a part of the e-book “Variations on a Theme”.
Caprice No. 24 in A minor is the final caprice of Niccolò Paganini’s 24 Caprices, and a famous work for solo violin. The caprice has provided a rich seam of material for works by many composers.

The pattern is ready to be test knitted. Let me know through Ravelry mail if you are interested and can complete this test knit within 3 weeks. You will need a 4ply, sport, or DK weight yarn for this project.
