This year I designed and knitted 4 shawls for
some friends who have been kind to me over the years. Queen V was the
first design in the series of #shawlsforfriends
and I gifted the original shawl to my friend Victoria. This one is for
me :-) In the spirit of the design name I called my project QueenD. You
can find the project on Ravelry:

The shawl will be on display at @apricotyarn. Stop by to see it in person and grab some Sulka Nina by Mirasol Yarn. The shawl knitted in colorway Duck Egg and takes 4 skeins.
Queen V is an elegant shawl that features a combination of clean lines, leaf silhouettes with little nupps and a garter stitch border. The shawl is knitted bottom-up with the border done simultaneously with the body.
